The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 438 of CrPC, as he is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.475/2019, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Raipur (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC.

The applicant was married with the complainant Tarandeep Kaur on 16.11.2010. They have two children out of wedlock. For some differences, she has lodged the present complaint, but subsequently she has filed an affidavit that they have resolved their dispute amicably and are presently residing together.

The other accused Ranjit Kaur has been allowed anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court.

Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the entire facts situation of the case, this Court is inclined to extend benefit of anticipatory bail to the applicant. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicant, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer with the following conditions:- (i) he shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required.

(ii) he shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer.
