The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No. 2 to decide the claim of the petitioner so far as grant of releasing of the compensation in respect of land belonging to the petitioner-trust which has been acquired by the Railway Department and for which respondent No. 2 was a Land Acquisition Officer and responsible for releasing of compensation.

According to the counsel for the Petitioner, compensation has been deposited by the Railway Authority before the State Authority and it is only to be disbursed to a person in whose favour award has been passed and is the beneficiary in the said land acquisition proceedings.

To the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for, the State Counsel does not oppose.

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No. 2 to immediately process the claim of the petitioner so far as grant of compensation of the land belonging to the Petitioner -Trust which has been acquired and compensation against which lying with the respondent No. 1. 5.

Let this exercise be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
