1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the occupant of Plot No. 82/2 ad-measuring 1370 square feet which is recorded at Sheet No. 28 in the Nazul and the house is situated over this land. It is contended that after the expiry of lease, the petitioner had made an application for renewal of the lease in the month of July 2020 and the report of the Revenue Inspector has been received and the paper publication has already been made which would be evident from the order-sheet of the Nazul Officer Bilaspur dated 25.08.2020

(Annexure P/1). The limited prayer made by the petitioner is that the Nazul Officer Bilaspur may be directed to decide the renewal case of the petitioner within a specified period of time.

Considering the facts that the age of the petitioner is shown to be 90 years, the application for renewal of the Nazul land has been made, the report of the Revenue Inspector has been received and the paper publication has already been made, the Nazul Officer Bilaspur is directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction/observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
