2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.455/2019, registered at Police Station Basantpur, District Rajnandgaon (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 34 of IPC and Sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The present applicants along with a juvenile accused 'L' assaulted injured Ravikant Soni by means of bricks, stones and knife. The injured was found to have sustained haemorrhage and fracture over skull and was admitted in the hospital from 28.10.2019 to 27.11.2019. He was discharged after full recovery.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail application.

5. Considering the fact that the applicants are in jail since 30.10.2019 i.e. for about 5 months and the trial may take some time due to unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, I am of the opinion that present is a fit case to release the applicants on regular bail.

6. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
