The limited relief that the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No. 2 to take a decision so far as grant of compensation to the family members of the diseased person who has died in a Naxal Attack. 2.
The contention of the Counsel for the petitioner is that brother of the petitioner died in a Naxal Attack on 17.12.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner has made repeated representation for payment of compensation as per scheme of the State Government dt. 16.11.2015 issued by the Home Department Government of Chhattisgarh.

According to the counsel for the petitioner, in-spite of having made repeated representation to the respondent No. 3, no positive response has till date been received by the respondent.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 3 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compensation on account of his brother getting killed in the Naxal Attack in terms of the order of Home Department Government Chhattisgarh dt. 16.11.2015 at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days' from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
