1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to the order dated 14/08/2018, whereby respondent No. 3 has been posted as a Forest Range Officer at Konta Division under the Forest Region, Sukma where the petitioner was discharging his duties.

2. According to the petitioner, the respondents are now insisting for handing over of the charge of the post of Ranger to the respondent No.3. According to the petitioner, he is senior among the two and the charge thereafter cannot be ordered to the given to the respondent No.3, the junior person. The petitioner further submits that there is no order passed by the respondents in change of posting of the petitioner. Moreover, according to the petitioner, he has got less than a year left for retirement and therefore the respondents should not change the place of posting of the petitioner nor direct the petitioner to hand over the charge to a junior person.

Given the limited grievance, which the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner in addition to the representation, if any, he has made, approach the Conservator of Forest for the said forest region within a period of 2 weeks and on such representation being filed within a period of 2 weeks, let the Chief Conservator of Forest/Conservator of Forest, as the case may be, may take an appropriate decision at the earliest preferably within a further period of 45 days.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
