The limited grievance has raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No. 2 to immediately process the review petition which the petitioner has filed on 09.12.2019 against the order of the respondent No. 2 dt. 13.09.2019.

According to the Counsel for the Petitioner, the respondent no. 2 vide order dated 13.09.2019 had granted lease in favour of the respondent No. 4 invoking the provision of Section 181 of the

Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code. The petitioner immediately had filed a review petition as early as on 09.12.2019 but till date, Collector has not processed the review petition and has not even registered the same, therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the writ petition is disposed of at this juncture directing the respondent No.2 to immediately consider and process the review petition and thereafter, decide the review petition as expeditiously as possible within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The respondent No. 2 is expected to decide the same purely in accordance with law and on its own merits. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Jyotijha
