1. Pursuant to earlier proceedings, the Government conducted a preliminary enquiry and that disclosed the requirement to take further action and also further enquiry. The report of the action proposed is placed on record. We take cognizance of it and are persuaded to order that in the case in hand due action has to necessarily follow to conclude all further enquiries and decision of Government be rendered and enforced in a time bound manner. We also see justification in the petitioner relying on the order dated 04/07/2017 in Writ Petition (PIL) 66 of 2017 to point out that the allegations in the case in hand are fairly comparable to the fact situation to that case.

2. In the result, this writ petition ordered directing that the steps shown to have been taken by the official respondents in furtherance of the enquiry shall be carried forward and concluded without fail within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. Writ petition ordered accordingly.
