(1) Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's representation for grant of higher pay scale is pending consideration before respondent No. 2 since 25.08.2003, which has not been considered and decided till now and, therefore, a direction may be issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the same expeditiously. To which, counsel for the state has no objection.

(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2 is directed to consider and take decision on the petitioner's representation expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law.

(3) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
