Learned Counsel for the Petitioner at this juncture prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present Criminal Misc. Petition with liberty to approach the competent authority to move an application under Section 68(1)(b) of the Indian Forest Act, whereby the Petitioner intends to compound the offence.
