Grievance of the petitioner is that even though on the report of the petitioner, belatedly and at the cost of filing writ petition and contempt petition, FIR has been registered against those persons, who are indulged in criminal activities by using the petitioner's name and specific code provided to the petitioner as Agriculturist, the police authorities are not taking expeditious steps towards completion of investigation.

The allegation of the petitioner is that the persons against whom, FIR has been registered, are influential personalities, therefore, the Station House Officer is acting under the influence of those influential persons. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that once the FIR has been registered, the matter shall be duly investigated into by the concerned Station House Officer and appropriate report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. would be filed. He submits that the allegation of influence are without any foundation. 4.

Considering the submission made above, at this stage, all that can be done is to direct the Superintendent of Police, Baloda Bazar to ensure that the investigation in the matter is fairly made and concluded expeditiously and appropriate report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate as early as possible. A copy of this order be submitted by the petitioner before the Superintendent of Police, Baloda Bazar.
