1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the order passed by the Collector, Surajpur vide Annexure P/1 dated 23.07.2018.

2. The whole issue revolves around the order of appointment, which the respondents had initially given to the petitioner as an Anganbadi worker at Anganbadi Centre, Shanti Nagar, at Gram Panchayat Jamdei, Tahsil and District Surajpur, Chhattisgarh.

-23. This Court, at the outset, is not inclined to entertain the writ petition for the reason that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy available by preferring a revision before the Commissioner, Surguja division against the order of the Collector.

At this juncture, counsel for the petitioner submits that though the order of Collector has been passed on 23.07.2018, but the same has till date not been given effect to and the petitioner is still discharging the duties as an Anganbadi worker. The petitioner further submits that the appointment of the petitioner was first made in the year 2006 and for last more than 12 years, the petitioner is discharging his duties as an Anganbadi worker.

5. Given the said fact, let the petitioner prefer a revision before the Commissioner, Surguja division within a period of 14 days from today challenging the order of the Collector dated 23.07.2018 along with an application for grant of interim relief and till the interim application is considered by the Commissioner, the services of the petitioner shall not be terminated.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
