Agrawal Order On Board 13/02/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has tried to deposit cheque of the awarded amount before respondent No.2-Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kondagaon, but the said Tribunal has declined to accept the cheque and even not recorded the order, which is impermissible in law, against which this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed.

(2) Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make application for deposit of award amount with cheque/draft before respondent No.2-Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal, Kondagaon within seven days from today and it will be accepted by the concerned Claims Tribunal and if the cheque is not acceptable by the Tribunal for any reason, the

Claims Tribunal is at liberty to record reasons in the order-sheet in accordance with law.

(3) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.

(4) Certified copy today.
