1. With the consent of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, heard finally.
2. Vide order dated 04.08.2020 passed in MCRCA No.858/2020, a transit bail for the period of 15 weeks has been passed in favour of the Petitioner-herein.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that due to widespread of COVID-19, inter state travels were restricted and no option was available for traveling from Bilaspur (C.G.) to the State of Punjab. The Government of India time and again warned and issued guidelines for traveling, specifically in case of senior citizens. Thereafter, when restrictions were eased around, the present
Petitioner was diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis-C and she was advised to exercise strict caution and take rest for the period from 15th November, 2020 to 28th January, 2021, therefore, the Petitioner was unable to travel to the state of Punjab. A medical report in this regard is also annexed herewith as Annexure A/2.
4. Considering the above, transit bail granted in favour of the Petitioner vide order dated 04.08.2020 passed in MCRCA No.858/2020 is further extended for four weeks from today.
5. Accordingly, the instant CRMP is disposed of.
6. Certified copy as per rules.
