1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the cancellation of Fair Price Shop, the appeal was preferred on 28.12.2020 under Order 18 of the Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016. He would submit that along-with the appeal, the stay application was filed, however, on one pretext or the other, the hearing could not take place. He therefore would submit that the petitioner's appeal, may be concluded within a specified time.

2. Considering the facts situation of the case, without any observation on merits, the Collector/Addl. Collector, is directed to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner within an outer limit of 3 months from the date of receipt of this order

subject to cooperation of the petitioner.

3. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed off.
