1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the respondents to immediately constitute a selection committee as per norms of Statute No.28 of the University for the selection on the post of Principal.

2. On instructions, counsel for respondent No.3 today makes a submission that a committee has been constituted on 01.03.2018. He further submits that the said committee shall conclude the selection process as early as possible. The order dated 01.03.2018 with regard to constitution of committee produced by the counsel for the respondent No.3 is taken on record.

3. The counsel for the petitioners at this juncture makes a submission that so far as petitioners are concerned, they would be rendering all required assistance for the early conclusion of the selection process.

4. Given the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that selection committee has already been constituted on 01.03.2018, it is expected that the petitioners shall also co-operate with the said committee for the selection process for filling up the post of Principal as early as possible.
