1. The limited relief that the petitioners have sought in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider and decide the grievance of the petitioners firstly so far as marking of attendance is concerned and secondly in respect of the

claim for grant of 'equal pay for equal work' as is given to other similarly placed persons.

2. Given the said grievance, the petitioners would be at liberty to make a fresh representation in addition to what they have already made to the respondents 2 & 3 within 10 days from today and the respondents 2 & 3 in turn shall take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioners on its own merits in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the representation of the petitioners.
