The challenge in the present writ petition is Annexure P-1 dated 18.08.2017 whereby the petitioner has been given with compulsory retirement w.e.f. 18.08.2017.

The order of compulsory retirement has been passed pursuant to the guidelines that were framed by the State Govt. vide Annexure P-2 dated 25.04.2017. Subsequently, the State Govt. has vide their circular dated 05.05.2018 constituted a High Level Committee to peruse all those cases of compulsory retirement passed in the light of the policy of the State Govt. It has been said that all those persons who are aggrieved by the order of compulsory retirement may approach the Committee by making a suitable representation and the Committee in turn shall consider the case of all those persons in accordance with the guidelines and perusal of the service records of such candidates.

In view of the said decision of the General Administration Department dated 05.05.2018, let the case of the petitioner also be reconsidered in accordance with the guidelines of the State Govt. The petitioner would be at liberty to file a fresh representation to the Committee so constituted by the General Administration Department and the contents of the said representation shall also be borne in mind by the Committee. The Committee shall also consider the previous years ACRs of the petitioner and thereafter reach to the conclusion whether the compulsory retirement given to the petitioner was justified or not. Let the Committee consider the case of the petitioner within a maximum period of 90 days which includes

the period required for routing the file through the C.M. coordination. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
