1. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant case is to that the petitioner has all the requisite eligibility criteria as also the qualification required for promotion from the Post of Assistant Teacher, (Panchayat) to the post of Teacher (Panchayat) and in spite of fact that a large number of vacancies still available, respondents have not shown any interest in filling up the the post by way of promotion, thereby the petitioner is being put to a substantial loss.

2. Taking into consideration the aforesaid submissions of the petitioner, ends of justice would meet if the petition itself is disposed off with direction to the respondent No. 2 & 4 to ensure that the case of the

petitioner subject to his fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria including the fact that he falls within the zone of consideration for promotion be considered at the earliest for promotion from the post of Assistant Teacher (Panchayat) to Teacher (Panchayat).

3. Let this exercise be concluded within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
