Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board 07/02/2020

1. The petitioner's application for grant of parole has been rejected by The Deputy Collector, Jashpur (C.G.) vide order dated 21/06/2019 against which, this writ petition has been preferred.

2. Mr. Siddiqui, learned State Counsel would submit that the concerned Deputy Collector/ Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Jashpur (C.G.) would reconsider the matter within 10 days in light of the decision rendered by this Court in the matter of Rakesh Shende v. State of Chhattisgarh (in WPCR No. 29 of 2016, decided on 18.11.2016).

3. In view of his submission, the order dated 21/06/2019 is hereby quashed and the case will be reconsidered preferably within a period of 10 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the writ petition stands disposed off.
