1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are Drug Inspectors working in the State of Chhattisgarh and they are getting less pay scale than that of those working in the

equivalent post under the Central Government for which they have made representation and same has not been considered and decided by the State Government.

2. Be that as it may, the petitioners are directed to make fresh representation along with supporting documents before the State Government and the State Government shall in turn, consider the same strictly in accordance with law and decide the same within three months from the date of receipt of the representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merit or not given any direction for considering / granting the pay scale and it is for the State Government to decide the representation, strictly in accordance with law.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
