1. The counsel for the petitioner makes a limited prayer against the award dated 01.06.2018 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue)-Bilaspur in land acquisition proceedings.

-22. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner had already moved an application dated 02.05.2018 before the Commissioner-Bilaspur division but till date, it is pending consideration.

It view of the same this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent no. 5 to verify whether the representation of the petitioner has in-fact been filed or not, and it if has been filed, appropriate decision be taken on the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
