The writ petition has been preferred seeking quashment of the order (Annexure-P-7), whereby the petitioner was directed to vacate the official accommodation allotted to him

while he was posted at Durg.

This Court has passed an interim order on 20.12.2007 directing the parties to maintain status quo with regard to possession over the subject quarter and the said interim protection is still operating.

It is informed that the petitioner shall attain the age of superannuation on 30.06.2017.

In view of the fact that the interim order is operative for last more than 9 years, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the interim order shall remain in operation till 30.06.2017 and thereafter the petitioner shall vacate the accommodation in accordance with the service rules applicable in this regard.
