This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents No.2 & 3 to consider petitioner's transfer on his own request to the jurisdiction of another Zila Panchayat on the ground that the wife of the petitioner is posted under the jurisdiction of Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Jashpur.

It is submitted that Zila Panchayat, Jashpur has already sent his no objection to petitioner's transfer to Zila Panchayat, Jashpur. 3.

I have find that though the application was made by the petitioner on 08.04.2016, the Zila Panchayat, Balrampur has not taken any decision, till date. The application for transfer to adjust husband wife at one place require consideration and decision at the earliest.

Respondent No.2 ought to have decided the matter. 5.

In view of the above, instead of keeping this matter pending, it would be expedient in the interest of justice to dispose off this petition, at this stage, with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's request for transfer in accordance with the policy applicable in the matter of transfer of employees of Panchayat from the jurisdiction of one Zila Panchayat to the other Zila Panchayat as framed by the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of Chhattisgarh.

The decision be taken by respondent No.2 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 7.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
