1. The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for grant of minimum wages which has been fixed by the Collector.

2. The Petitioners are working as part-time sweepers on a salary

which has been fixed at the time of appointment. However, the authorities have fixed the minimum wages as per the minimum wages periodically fixed by the Collector.

3. At the outset it reflects that the Petitioners till date have not ventilated their grievance with their employer by making any representation. In the absence of any representation, it would not be appropriate to entertain this Writ Petition straightaway.

4. The Writ Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the Petitioners to ventilate his grievance in this regard before the competent authority.

5. In the event of any representation being made it is expected that the same shall be considered by the competent authority in accordance with the Rules.

6. The Writ Petition accordingly stands dismissed with the aforesaid observation.
