Shri Anant Bajpai, Panel Lawyer Hon'ble The Vacation Judge Order on Board 25/05/2017 The applicant has preferred this application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail as she has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 86 of 2017 registered at Police Station Chawni, District Durg (Chhattisgarh) for the offence punishable under Section 20B of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 for illicit possession of 2.640 Kg. Ganja 2.

The applicant is in jail since 21.02.2017. The concerned SHO has not reported any previous antecedent of the applicant's involvement in similar nature of crime. The applicant is a lady aged about 50 years. Therefore, considering all relevant aspects of the matter, this Court is inclined to release her on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed. The present applicant is directed to be released on bail on her executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned trial Court. She is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
