With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.

The petitioner participated in the recruitment of Constable under the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces. He sought information about his performance in the examination.

Taking shelter of the notification dated 22.10.2005, it is stated in the return that in exercise of power under Section 24 (4) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (for short 'RTI Act'), the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces have been exempted from the provisions of the RTI Act. 4.
In view of the above, the State Commission has not committed any illegality in dismissing the appeal under the RTI Act. 5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner would be at liberty to maintain the writ petition challenging his non selection in the said recruitment.
