Grievance of Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that though the Petitioner has been retired from service on 31.8.2020 but till date his retiral dues like pension and gratuity have not been settled by Respondents. 2.

Learned Counsels appearing for respective Respondents, both for State Government as well as for the office of Accountant General, submit that the grievance of Petitioner shall be redressed at the earliest in accordance with law. 3.

Given the said submission, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing Respondents No. 3 to 5 to take necessary steps in ensuring that the pension and gratuity payable to Petitioner is settled in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which the retiral dues shall carry interest at the rate of 10% per annum which shall be recoverable from the erring officials who have not promptly processed the case of Petitioner.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction/observation.
