1. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner's land was acquired by the respondent -NTPC and despite there being provision for grant of employment in addition to payment of compensation as part of rehabilitation scheme framed by the Government, employment has not been granted.
2. I find that the petitioner has already made a representation to respondent No. 2 for providing employment to which he claims to be entitled under rehabilitation scheme framed by the Government.
3. In the matter of rehabilitation, the respondents are expected to examine each and every claim within a stipulated period and take decision thereon.
4. Let respondent No.2 decide petitioner's representation by speaking order. The same shall also be duly communicated to the petitioner. The decision should be taken within an outer limit of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this
-2order by respondent No.2. In case the petitioner's grievance is not redressed, the petitioner will be at liberty to revive the petition.
5. The petition is accordingly disposed off with the observation and direction as above.
