Claiming correction in date of birth, this writ application was filed in 2011 pursuant to appointment in 1973. After a representation was filed in 2008, the Petitioner has already superannuated on 31.7.2010. 2.

The Petitioner acknowledges that his date of birth was mentioned in his service book as 23 years. Seeking correction of the same to 6.4.1953, there is no explanation that after he represented in 2008 why did he wait to file the writ application in 2011 allowing his superannuation in 2010 to intervene.

The writ application is dismissed.
