The petitioners have been transferred by order dated 31.7.2014 by the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Surguja from Janpad Panchayat Balrampur to Janpad Panchayat Kusma, against which, the present writ petitions have been filed stating inter-alia that such a transfer order is not permissible in law and same is against Rule 27 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Recruitment and General Condition of Service) Rules, 1999. He would further submit that the petitioners may be permitted to make the representations before the respondent No.2/Collector, Balrampur, which may be directed to be decided as early as possible.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. 3.

The petitioners are permitted to make representations before the respondent No.2 raising their all grievances within a period of two weeks from today. If the petitioners prefer such representations within the aforesaid period, the respondent No.2/Collector, Balrampur will do well and decide the same within a further period of four weeks from the date of receipt of representations in accordance with law. Interim order granted on 31.10.2014 shall remain in operation for a period of six weeks.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
