Sam Koshy Order On Board 23/06/2017 The sole grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the fact that though he was initially appointed as a peon, subsequently he was promoted to the post of Lab Attendant in the year 1993. Thereafter, considering the length of service on the same post, the petitioner has also been granted the advantage of higher pay scale etc. and in the year 2010, he was promoted to the post of Upper Division Teacher on which post he is still working. However, all these promotions as also the benefit of higher pay scale which he has got, have not been entered in his service book till date and he has been approaching the respondents repeatedly for making those entries.

Learned State counsel submits that the entries have to be made by respondent no.2.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 submits that let an appropriate direction be issued to respondent no.2 who in turn will take appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner in this regard. 4.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to immediately consider the grievance of the petitioner. If the petitioner is entitled for the relief that he has sought for, the same may be granted to him without any delay and if he is not entitled, the same may be communicated to him with reasons.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands allowed and disposed of.
