Sam Koshy Order On Board 30/06/2017 The present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Collector, District Mahasamund to decide Annexure P-1 which is a representation for grant of compensation against the land which is alleged to have been acquired by the respondents way back in the year 1983-84. 2.

This Court finds it difficult to entertain the petition for the reason that the petition has not been supported with any document by which the petitioner has been able to establish the title over the alleged land for which compensation has been sought in respect of the alleged acquisition done by the respondents. Moreover, this Court is also not inclined to entertain the petition on the ground

of delay and latches for the reason that the acquisition had taken place in the year 1983-84 and the present writ petition was filed on 27th June, 2017 i.e. after about 34 years and no proper explanation has been given for the said delay.

On the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is reluctant to entertain the petition. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed in limine.
