Grievance of the petitioners are that even though, the petitioners are entitled to up-gradation of pay as per notification dated 10-12-2014 to the next higher pay scale of Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-, the said benefits are not being extended.

The petitioners have already preferred representation (Annexure P/4) on 22-08-

2016.

On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that the claim of petitioners shall be scrutinized and examined in accordance with the prevalent rules and circulars and appropriate decision shall be taken in the matter at the earliest. 5.

In view of the aforesaid submission and that the representation of the petitioners have remained pending without any decision, at this stage, I am inclined to dispose off the matter with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the petitioners claim within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
