This petition is not directed against any specific order of the Family Court.

It is submitted that the petitioner has filed an application for dissolution of marriage under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 on 19.03.2018. The respondent side seeking adjournment on various pretext and therefore, she is interested to linger on the proceeding. Because of this attitude of the respondent, the case is pending for almost two years without any substantial progress, therefore, it is prayed that direction be issued to the learned Family Court to expedite and conclude the trial.

Considering on the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner and also perused the copy of the order sheet filed along with this petition, I am of this view that there is a necessity of issuance of direction, therefore, the petition is disposed off at this stage and the learned Family Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months. 4.
