1. The sole grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is the

inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking a decision on the joint application made by the two petitioners seeking for mutual transfer.

2. Learned State counsel submits that subject to verification of facts as to whether the petitioners belong to the same category and whether they are working against the same subject, the case of the petitioners shall be considered at the earliest.

3. Given the said submission by the State counsel, the writ petition, at this juncture, stands disposed of directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision either way on the application of the petitioners at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
