1. This petition been preferred by the petitioners challenging the order dated 23.04.2016 passed by the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of Chhattisgarh, by which the benefit of revised pay scale on completion of 8 years service has been denied to them on the ground that they have not obtained the 'No Objection Certificate' from the previous employer.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the issue raised in this petition is squarely covered by order dated 28.11.2017 passed by this Court in WPS No.2530 of 2017 (Mukesh Kumar Patel & Anr. Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Anr.)

3. Be that as it may, taking into consideration the submission made, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to make a representation to the competent authority in the light of the order passed by this Court in the case of Mukesh Kumar Patel (supra).

4. If the representation is moved by the petitioners, the same shall be considered and decided by the authority within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation along with copy of this order, strictly in accordance with the law.
