1. The relief that the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent no.3 to consider and decide the appeal which the petitioner had preferred as early as on 20.11.2019. The appeal has been preferred against the proposal sent by the respondent no.6 to the respondent no.4 so far as the allotment of lease of ponds in the Panchayat to the respondent no.7 society is concerned.

2. Considering the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for and also taking into consideration the nature of dispute, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the respondent no.3 is directed to consider and decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner on merits in accordance with law governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
