1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 30.01.2021 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Tahsil Kapu, District Raigarh to Tahsil Dharamjaigarh.

2. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the petitioner is going to retire w.e.f. 30.06.2021 i.e he has got just about three months time left for his retirement and at this juncture shifting the petitioner would be put into great hardship and inconvenience. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has till date not been relieved.

3. Considering the transfer policy of the State wherein there is a specific provision for transferring a person in less than one year of service left for retirement, the present petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents not to act upon Annexure P/1 till the petitioner completes his age of superannuation on 31.06.2021.

-24. In view of the same, the respondents are expected not to give effect to the order of transfer dated 30.01.2021 for the remaining period of service left of the petitioner for retirement.
