Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order on Board 23/02/2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are working as Panchayat Secretaries in respective

Gram Panchayats and they have been transferred contrary to the instructions of the State Government dated 29/08/2008, against which, they have preferred representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Jashpur, which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to decide the same expeditiously.

Be that as it may, if the petitioners make additional representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Jashpur within a period of ten days from today, the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Jashpur would do well to decide the representations of the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law keeping in view the instructions of the State Government dated 29/08/2008.

With the aforesaid observation, writ petitions stand finally disposed off. No order as to cost(s).

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case and the competent authority may decide the representations on its own merit.
