Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order on Board 22/03/2021

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application for grant of parole/leave has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Janjgir-Champa, on the ground that sureties have refused to stand on behalf of the petitioner as surety.

2. Mr. Sunil Pillai, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that now petitioner has ready to furnish sureties and affidavit has been filed for that effect.

3. Be that as it may, petitioner's father is at liberty to move appropriate application within seven days from today before the District Magistrate, Janjgir-Champa, proposing new sureties for releasing the prisoner (Pralay Pradhan) on parole/leave and that will be considered by the District Magistrate, Janjgir-Champa, expeditiously in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid direction/observation the present writ petition stands disposed of.
