1. The limited prayer which the petitioner has made in this petition is that against the order of punishment dated 22.12.2016 the petitioner has already preferred appeal before the respondent No.1 which is pending consideration and therefore prays for an appropriate direction to be issued to the respondent for appeal to be decided at the earliest.
2. The prayer is not opposed.
3. Accordingly, the respondent No.1 is directed to ensure that the appeal of the petitioner, if not decided till now, be decided at the earliest within a period of 90 days from today.
4. The petitioner would also be at liberty to file additional appeal, if he so thinks proper, before the appellate authority within a period of two weeks and the contents of the said additional appeal may also be considered by the authorities concerned while deciding the same on merits.
