The petitioner has filed this petition praying for direction to assign seniority from the date when his juniors were promoted. The petitioner's juniors were promoted in the year 2014-15. The petitioner preferred representation and finally, he was promoted vide order dated 21-06-2017. However, the seniority has been assigned only from the date of the order, whereas the petitioner is claiming that he should be given seniority over and above the juniors, who have been promoted in the year

2014-15. The petitioner has already preferred representation before the Chief Executive Officer, which has remained undecided. 3.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, let representation of the petitioner be considered and decided within a period of 60 days by a speaking order. If grievance of the petitioner is not redressed, he would be at liberty to file an appeal against the order that may be passed against him under the provisions of CG Panchayat (Appeal & Revision) Rules, 1995.
