1. The grievance of the petitioner seems to be the discrepancy in the GPF Account.

2. The matter pertains to the GPF Account of the husband of the petitioner the deceased employee. According to the petitioner there was a huge credit balance of more than 7 lakhs in his GPF Account. After the death of the husband of the petitioner however it has been reflected as negative balance.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learend counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter be placed before the High Powered

-2Committee constituted by the State for redressal of the dispute relating to the retiral dues.

4. To this said relief sought for the respondents do not oppose.

5. Accordingly, the matter has been referred to the High Powered Committee constituted by the State Government for redressal of the retiral dues. The committee shall get the GPF Account of the husband of the petitioner duly scrutinized and verified and counter checked with the account that is maintained with the office of the Accountant General.

6. Let an appropriate decision be taken finalizing the claim of the petitioner so far as GPF amount payable to the petitioner on the death of the her husband Late B. D. Tandon who died in harness on the post of Lecturer from the Government Higher Secondary School. Let the decision be taken at the earliest preferably within 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

7. The Committee shall give opportunity of hearing to the petitioner before finalizing the claim of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
