1. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to respondents authorities to consider petitioner's claim for employment in lieu of acquisition of his land. It is found that the petitioner's grievance is that he has neither been paid any

compensation nor any employment has been provided.

2. The petitioner has not placed on record any policy of rehabilitation which shows that in addition to or in lieu of compensation, an employment would also be provided. However, if that is the claim of the petitioner, it will be open for the respondents authorities to consider and decide the same in accordance with the Rehabilitation Policy, which was in force at the time when the petitioner's land was acquired by the respondents authorities. The petitioner's claim be considered and decided within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
