1. The petitioners have filed the present writ petition for direction to respondents to consider their cases for regularization as per circular of the State Government dated 05.03.2008.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that all the petitioners were working with the respondents authorities prior to 31.12.1997 and therefore, their case is squarely covered by the circular dated 05.03.2008.
3. In the light of the aforesaid submission and the contents of the writ petition, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending and that ends of justice would meet if the petition is disposed off at this juncture with a direction to the respondents No.4 & 5 to consider the case of each of the petitioners and subject to verification of their credentials and in accordance with the circular dated 05.03.2008 an appropriate order may be passed. Let this exercise be done within a period of four months from today.
