1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition was brought with a prayer to quash the criminal proceedings against the petitioner.

2. As per the information received from the parties, the case against the petitioner has been concluded and he has been acquitted of charge against him and, hence, the petition has become infructuous.

3. Considering the submissions made by the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
