(1) Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made representation to the Inspector General of Police, Surguja Range, Ambikapur to consider his case on the promotional post, which has not been considered and decided till now and, therefore, same may be directed to be decided by respondent No. 2 expeditiously.
(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.
(3) Be that as it may, respondent No. 2- Inspector General of Police Surguja Range is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and passed reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law expeditiously.
(4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
