1. The transfer order is under challenge on the ground that the petitioner's wife is also posted at nearby station, therefore, the petitioner may be allowed to continue at the present place of posting.

2. Posting of husband and wife together either at the same station or nearby station is a policy which is subject to overriding interest of administrative exigency in public interest. The petitioner has already remained posted at the present place of posting since 2010. Therefore, no interference is called for by this Court. However, it will be open for the petitioner to prefer representation.

3. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
