1. The petitioner seeks to challenge correctness and validity of the order dated 16.1.2017 passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Baladobazar by which the petitioner's name for promotion has been rejected. It is submitted that the order is illegal.

2. Numbers of grounds have been urged. However, considering that against the

-2order, there is a remedy of appeal under the provision of Chhattisgarh Panchayat (Appeal & Revision) Rules, 1995 and the ground raised by the petitioner are not such so as to warrant interference by the writ Court without insisting on exhaustion of alternative remedy available to the petitioner.

3. The petition is therefore dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal.
